Be Aware

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
~Be Aware~

Isaiah 41:10 - So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

About 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer will occur among women in the United States during 2010. And an estimated 39,840 women will die from breast cancer this year. Also, about 1,970 men will be diagnosed and 390 men will die of breast cancer during 2010 in the United States. In addition to invasive breast cancer, an estimated 54,010 new cases of in situ breast cancer will occur among women in 2010.  http://ww5.komen.org/default.aspx

I know many people who have personally gone through cancer. I know survivors as well as some who have lost their battle, but ultimately gained eternal life with our Lord. One of the most amazing things I have ever experienced was donating a 17 inch ponytail to Pantene Pro-V Beautiful Lengths. It was humbling and though there's nothing I can do, I felt that I helped a woman's day be a little more beautiful by helping her get a free wig. Cancer is an evil thing, pure evil. But the good news..
God is bigger than cancer!! Yes He Is!
At the end of the day we must always remember what Paul says in Romans 8:28. "And we know that all things work together for good, for them that love God and are called according to his purpose."
Yes, God can use cancer for His glory.
God is good all the time, All the time God is good.
